written this privacy policy to let you know about what personal information, if any, we collect about you when you use the 1UP Industries website or the Bins software, and what we do with that information.
What information do we collect?
Use of cookies
A cookie is a small amount of data that your browser stores on your computer on behalf of the website that you are visiting. This allows a website to remember details about your visit, such as your preferences or the pages you have visited, and to provide useful features based on those details. The 1UP Industries website uses cookies
on its website to observe visitor behavior via use of the Google Analytics

Log Files and IP Addresses
As with all websites, visits to the 1UP Industries website are logged by IP address, browser type, internet service provider, referring/exit pages, platform type, date/time stamp, and the number of pages visited. We do not share this information with any other organizations. We may occasionally use it ourselves to monitor the status of the website. IP addresses are not linked to any personally identifiable information although visitors should be aware that both static and dynamic IP addresses can be mapped back to your Internet Service Provider.
Licensing & Activation
To verify your purchase Bins makes use of online activation. During online
activation your purchased serial number and an undecypherable hash of your key
Windows installation parameters are sent to the 1UP Industries
servers to identify your machine in a psudo-anonymous fasion. This information
is used solely for the purpose of verifying your license and is not used for any
personally-identifyable tracking (we're not Google!). None of your registration
information is outwardly personally identifiable. Please be aware this
information may also be sent during checks for updates to again verify the
ingrety of the purchase. Regarding licensing, while 1UP Industries' official
policy is 1 activated PC per purchase, we often are much looser on this policy
in actual practice. However, 1UP Industries does reserve the right to enforce
this policy as it sees necessary at any point regardless of prior applications
of the policy. The information described in the paragrah above is not sold nor
shared to any other organizations, and is deleted from our database after 6
months.
Email addresses
At the time of purchase we collect your email address for the purpose of
sending your registration information and to help you keep track of your
purchase. Your email address is safe with us and is never shared with any 3rd
party besides for processing payments with PayPal. On rare occasion we may
contact you with additional information about your purchase, but in general we
hate spam as much as you do and sending you mail is not our intent.
Again, we will not sell, share, or rent this information to any other organizations.
Personal details
When registering 1UP Industries through one of our selected resellers, you will be asked to provide personal details when placing your order such as name, postal address, email address, and credit card information. These personal details are used only for the purpose of fulfilling your order and for no other purpose.
Only your first name, last name, and email address are sent to 1UP Industries -
and again this information is only kept so that we can identify your purchase
should you need support. We will not sell, share, or rent this information to
any other organizations, and this information can be deleted upon request.

We may occasionally need to update our privacy policy and if we do we will post any changes to the policy on our website so that you are always aware of how we use your information. If at any time we find that we need to use information in a manner
significantly different from the policy stated at the time the information was collected, we will notify users by email and/or by posting a notice on our website.
